BirdCare Aotearoa

At BirdCare Aotearoa, we are a dedicated charity focused on the care and rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wild birds. As the largest avian hospital in the region, we admit over 6,500 birds each year, providing them with the essential medical attention they need. We work closely with the community, receiving birds from caring individuals, the SPCA, Department of Conservation, and various veterinary clinics. Our mission is to ensure these beautiful creatures receive the best possible care, and we rely on the support of our community to continue our vital work.
