Studio John Irving Architects

We are located in inner city Auckland in the old Auckland Gas Works which was established on this site in 1862. The charming brick administration building was constructed in 1902 and looks out through the trees to Victoria Park. It is a great spot. John leads a team of talented architects and designers who produce the simple, well-considered designs. John obtained his honors degree in architecture from Auckland University. After gaining experience working in Auckland, John spent almost a decade working as an architect in Berlin and London before establishing Studio John Irving architects.The philosophy of the practice is to strive to simplify, to listen, to work with good people and to enjoy the journey. Our goal is to produce an enriching beautiful design that is modern yet timeless. Our work makes you happy.
